Dr. Amanda Gruza
Assistant Professor and Incoming General Practice Residency Program Director
Dr. Gruza graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry in 2010 and subsequently completed a one-year general practice residency at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. She then spent several years in private practice as a general dentist and worked as a part-time clinical faculty member at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Dentistry. In 2019, Dr. Gruza completed her four-year, hospital-based residency through the University of British Columbia, becoming a board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologist, as well as a board-certified Oral Medicine Specialist. Dr. Gruza currently teaches and supervises both undergraduate dental students and post-graduate general practice residents. As of 2020, Dr. Gruza will also take on the role of Director of the General Practice Residency program at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Gruza also works in private practice part-time as an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist and Oral Medicine Specialist in the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
