Become a Patient

Patient care is delivered by senior students under the supervision of licensed dentists at all times. The clinic provides the setting for the clinical component required for the completion of the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

You will be asked to make a screening appointment to determine whether your dental needs can be met by our students. There is no charge for this appointment other than radiographs, if required. Once accepted as a patient, you will be scheduled for an appointment with a student where you will receive a thorough examination and a treatment plan will be established. There will be a charge for the examination appointment. At times, you may have to wait for the appropriately skilled student to become available.

As treatment is provided by students, treatment times are longer than would be experienced in private dental practices. Depending upon the nature of the treatment, multiple appointments may be required. Appointments may range in duration from one to three hours.

To schedule a FREE initial screening appointment or if you have questions, please call the clinic at 306-966-5056
