Dr. Andrew Leask

Andrew Leask Research Portfolio:  Dr. Leask BSc (UBC), PhD (Chicago), postdoc (Stanford) is an expert in fibrosis and tissue repair, specifically regarding scleroderma and the oral cavity. Former trainees have obtained positions at institutions such as: University of Toronto, Massachusetts General Hospital, Genentech, Perkin Elmer and Bayer. Dr. Leask is or has been on the editorial board of several journals, including Matrix Biology, and on the scientific boards of several societies, including the European Tissue Repair Society. According to Google Scholar, he has an h index of 70,~21,000 citations, and over 230 publications. According to Stanford University, he is in the top 2% of research scientists in the world.
