Learn dental procedures and current techniques in a pre-clinical teaching area that includes a state-of-the-art clinic simulation facility. During the clinical training phase of the program, you'll gain experience providing direct patient care in our treatment clinic under the supervision of licensed dentists.
Doctor of Dental Medicine/MBA
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)/Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Beginning fall 2023, a dual-track DMD/MBA opportunity will be offered in partnership with the Edwards School of Business, a first among Canadian dental schools. The option will be available to one applicant to the DMD program. The individual will receive provisional admission to the DMD program for the following year, contingent on first completing the one-year MBA program.
Dental Assisting
Certificate
This 10-month certificate will prepare you for a new career as a dental assistant working with dentists, hygienists, and therapists. Students learn skills including preventative and restorative oral care, radiography, and working as part of a dental team. Students may enter the Dental Assisting program directly from high school.
Dental Therapy
Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Dental therapists provide operative, pediatric, periodontic and oral surgery clinical care, along with preventive treatment and health education. Dental therapists are in high demand and students will be ready to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation. Dental therapists can earn $55/hour or more, according to recent Government of Canada Job Bank data. Registered dental hygienists and internationally trained dentists may apply for admission to a one-year program option.

Dental Hygiene
Bachelor of Science (BSc)
The 3-year Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene is a unique program in the province of Saskatchewan. This is the first degree program in the province that provides opportunities for future entry into university programs such as the MSc and PhD programs. This cutting edge inter-professional program will prepare students for a career working alongside dentists, dental assistants, and dental therapists to support patients with their dental care.
Students may enter the Dental Hygiene program direct from high school and features a unique evening schedule. The evening schedule is designed to enable student to work a part-time or full job or accommodate other daytime obligations while advancing their education. All classes, pre-clinical simulation and clinical experience will be offered between 5pm and 10pm.
International Dental Degree Program
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
The program is for students who have already earned a dental degree from an institution in a country not recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada. Students are able to complete a Canadian Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in two years.
Precision Oral and Systemic Health (PhD)
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
For students who have earned a degree in a relevant field and wish to design and conduct research related to oral health. Research topics will have a connection to oral health and students will be exposed to research and training using state-of-the-art technology, critical thinking, ethical considerations and clinical applications in a real-world context.
