White Coat Ceremony
Will be livestreamed on September 5th, 2025
Students in the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Class of 2028 along with students in the International Dental Degree Program (IDDP) Class of 2027 will take an important step in their dental profession journey when they are officially cloaked as a part of the annual White Coat Ceremony held at the University of Saskatchewan Convocation Hall on Friday September 5, 2025, 2:00 p.m.
The White Coat Ceremony and recitation of the Code of Professional Conduct oath is an important milestone in the education and professional life of a dental student and signifies each student’s commitment to a higher calling as a dental professional. The ceremony recognizes the time when clinic work and responsibilities begin, and when students make the transition from lab to clinic and from mannequin to patient.
Students will be gifted a crested white lab coat provided by the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
