The College of Dentistry Clinic Renovations Commence January 6, 2025

2025 is a milestone year for the College of Dentistry as we begin our extensive clinic renovations. This page will serve as a communications hub providing weekly updates for students, faculty and staff. 

Update for January 2, 2025

1. Renovation Timeline and Locations
   • Renovations will begin on Monday, January 6, 2025, led by contractors from VCM.
   • Full renovation, including pre-clinic, clinic, reception area and locker rooms are expected to be finalized in October 2025.
   • The new pre-clinic area will be constructed in the basement of the dental building. This phase is expected to have minimal to no impact on daily activities.
   • Renovation in the main clinic (second floor) will have some impact. To address this, other areas in the College, such as Clinics 174, 120, and 121, will be utilized at maximum capacity.
2. Phased Renovation Plan
   • The clinic renovation will be conducted in phases to minimize disruption.
   • Phase 1 is expected to be completed within two months. We will communicate plans for Phase 2 and following phases closer to its start.
